| ENCOUNTER SYSTEM Dice Based Encounters - Non Optional
Short Adventures: Participants will engage in a random event lasting a minimum of ten posts per each member involved in the topic. Events can range from taking down a corrupt government official to defending a town from pirate invaders. Gives a bounty increase that could be considered moderate. Varies in difficulty based on each blue. [These missions are closer to the Arlong Park and Romance Dawn Arcs.]
Long Adventures: Participants will engage in a random event lasting a minimum of twenty posts per each member involved in the topic. Events can range from invading a government facility to assaulting a pirate stronghold and beyond. Gives a bounty increase that could be considered high. Always comes with a reward. Varies in difficulty based on each blue. [These missions are closer to the Alabasta and Enies Lobby arcs]
Small Threat: A random group of enemies or a singular enemy from the bestiary will be selected and integrated into the topic, players can choose to flee from these encounters. [Encounter Civilians, Marine Crews, Pirate Crews, Freelancers, or Monsters.]
Large Threat: A random group of enemies or a singular high level enemy from the bestiary will be selected and integrated into the topic, players can not run from these encounters. [Can be anything, usually strong however, and usually not able to be negotiated with. Though this is not always the case.]
Non-Dice Based Encounters - Optional
Special Adventure: Participants will engage in a random event lasting a minimum of thirty posts per each member involved in the topic. Events can range from causing a revolution on an island changing it's affiliation to breaking down an organization of a dastardly villain and beyond. Gives a bounty increase that could be considered insane. Always comes with a reward. Varies in difficulty based on each blue. [These missions are closer to the Marineford, Punk Hazard, and Dressrosa arcs]
Special Threats: Plot NPC may drop in from time to time depending on where you are in the world. They continue to do things as if they were actually existing in the world, and if you run into them they may or may not be hostile based on your bounty, past, and affiliation. They will not always be hostile, which is why they are considered a special level threat. [Comparable to running into an Admiral or Shichibukai Member]
Personal Adventure: If you have a specific personal experience in mind while searching an island, and want a specific mission to play out in some way shape or form, simply use the NPC request form, and apply. Not all applications are accepted, as we do not plan to have any one member be more important than another. We have to hear your idea, and have to be willing to allow it. [Filler Arcs compare to this.]
Nightmare Threats: You are not able to flee from Nightmare Threats, these only happen if a member is breaking the rules by loopholing, powerplaying, or by generally being unfair. The strongest enemy NPC's arrive to deal with the situation, it is a method to keep people in check. These encounters are always death enabled, and they arrive in groups. There is a chance to actually survive these encounters, however this info is not made public. [Comparable to Buster Calls and Mihawk] | |
